Accidents and Repetitive Use Injuries to Ski PatrollersThe FIPS Patroller Injury Survey - Update Oct08 Since the last FIPS Congress at Snowbird FIPS has been canvassing patrollers for details of any injuries they have sustained as a ski patrollers. The Patroller Injury Study aims to identify the nature and extent of injuries to patrollers together with details of any short, long-term or permanent consequences. Unfortunately there has been less than thirty responses at this time. The majority of responses are from Australia but with a small number from Scotland, USA, Canada and France. We need your help to make this a meaningful and useful study. Go to http://www.fips2007.org/mediagallery/ and select the Patroller Injury Survey to download the form. There is also a French version. Send completed forms to Rik Head at FIPS@c3plus.com.au or mail it to PO Box 3275 Ashburton VIC 3147 Australia. |
