On September 7, 2024, our team of Connecticut Ski/Bike Patrollers participated in the Closer to Free Ride! We formed a team of 8 Riders and Volunteers who committed to ride and fundraise to support cancer research and care for those who need it most - the families, patients and team at Smilow Cancer Hospital and Yale Cancer Center.  This was our first year participating in this great event and our fundraising efforts netted over $15,000.  We are looking forward to participating in this event again next year.
